How I Work
The principles below apply to how files are handled, how fees are agreed and how you are kept informed. They are set out here so that you know what to expect before instructing me.
Initial consultation
In the first consultation we establish what actually happened, which stage the matter has reached and which documents exist. You will be told plainly whether there is a case worth pursuing — including when the answer is that there is not.
Fees and costs
The scope of work and the fee are agreed before the engagement begins, taking the Muğla Bar Association's recommended fee tariff as a reference. Court costs — filing fees, expert witness fees, site inspection and translation costs — are separate from the fee and are explained to you as distinct items.
Reporting
You are informed of hearings, deadlines and material developments as they occur, in English. Where a decision is yours to make, you receive the options and their consequences rather than a recommendation without reasons.
Confidentiality
Information you share is covered by the professional secrecy obligation under the Turkish Attorneys Act. This obligation applies from the first consultation onwards, whether or not you go on to instruct me.
